The typewriter collection

So, did I mention that I’m a fan of typewriters? πŸ™‚

I don’t think I still have the electric typewriter that I took with me to college 26 years ago, but I do have a manual Underwood that I purchased for $25 from an ad in the Pennysaver about 15 years ago. (And yes, there’s a calendar page from one of my favorite fictional detectives, Nancy Drew, on the bulletin board next to said typewriter.) And below this photo, enjoy some other items from my extensive typewriter collection.

Julie would love that little desk and all the typing stuff on it.

I do, don’t I? Makes me think I’m kind of crazy, when I see them all grouped together in one place like this. πŸ™‚

I love the poster with all the typewriters. Do you know where I could get one?

Hi Marnie–actually, it’s not a poster, but a notebook. I bought it at Borders, and it’s a “Paperchase” project. I found it here online, but it looks like it’s sold out at amazon.uk–hopefully you can find it elsewhere if you’re interested: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Paperchase-Notebook-Sleeve-Typewriter-Design/dp/B002UYXXHG
