I don’t think I still have the electric typewriter that I took with me to college 26 years ago, but I do have a manual Underwood that I purchased for $25 from an ad in the Pennysaver about 15 years ago. (And yes, there’s a calendar page from one of my favorite fictional detectives, Nancy Drew, on the bulletin board next to said typewriter.)
